Zoals beschreven in het onstaan van dit project<\/a>, zetten we onze 50 jaar lange ervaring in voor al onze producten. Het productieproces start meestal bij een verzoek afkomstig van een van onze klanten. In de klassieke Abarth motorsport zijn originele onderdelen zeer schaars en meer fragiel vanwege de oude vervaardigingstechnieken van die tijd. Vandaar dat de meeste producten in onze catalogus gemodelleerd zijn van oude originele die wellicht beschadigd waren of waarbij er vraag was voor een sterker alternatief.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Technische tekening<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Wanneer de vraag voor een nieuw onderdeel rond is, wordt er gestart met optekenen. Precisie staat hoe dan ook voorop in dit vak. Daarom moet elke kleine ronding, inkeping, spleet of verhoging tot op de millimeter op papier staan. De meer nauwkeuriger, des te beter het eindresultaat. Dit is dan ook niet voor niets een tijdconsumerende stap. Ook belangrijk is dat er bij het tekenen en meten rekening wordt gehouden met een marge voor bewerking voor de laatste stap. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Opbouw van een model<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Met deze tekening wordt vervolgens het daadwerkelijke model gemaakt. Dit kan in kunstof, maar in onze geval wordt er vaker gekozen voor hout. Dit model representeert een omgekeerde (of binnenste buiten) versie van het uiteindelijke product. Met dit model kan vervolgens een start worden gemaakt met het daadwerkelijke vervaardigen van de mal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Een mal bouwen<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Met de mal klaar kan deze naar de gieterij om het product daadwerkelijk te gieten. Tot slot zorgen wij voor een mooie afwerking om tot een professioneel resultaat te komen. Denk hierbij aan bijvoorbeeld overtollig materiaal verwijderen en eventueel delen een likje verf geven. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finishing Touches<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

With the mould ready, it can go to the foundry to actually cast the product. Finally, we do the last finishing touches in house to achieve a professional result. This includes, for example, removing excess material and possibly giving parts a lick of paint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
